PORCELAIN CENTREPIECE WITH BACCHANTES.

Date: 19th c.
Technique: Porcelain, enriched in colours.
Description: A tree trunk with acanthus leaves is attached to the centre of a rounded, ascending rock
base. The roots of the trunk run across the plinth. Around the tree trunk, four figures in
antique-style robes, enjoying a wine feast. On the acanthus leaf moulding, a large basket
bowl with rocaille curves and numerous applied flowers.
Measurement: Height 53cm.
Mark: Swords mark, painted blue under glaze. Model number H120, painter's number 50.
