PORCELAIN CREAM POT AND SAUCER WITH PURPLE FOND AND KAKIEMON DECOR.
Meissen.
Date: Ca. 1740.
Technique: Porcelain, enriched in colours, gold accentuated.
Description: Cream jar with lid and saucer standing on three feet. On the sides a purple background
with cartouches on either side. These contain paintings of straw offerings and kakiemon
flowers. A rosette with a bird in the centre of the mirror of the saucer.
Measurement: Height 11cm, ø 18,6cm.
Mark: Swords mark, painted blue under glaze.
