PORCELAIN ENSEMBLE OF CUPID FIGURINES AS ALLEGORY FOR THE WINTER.
Meissen.
Date: Ca. 1760.
Technique: Porcelain, enriched in colours.
Description: Three cupids on rocaille base. In the centre an ensemble of rocks on which one of the
cupids sits and drapes a cloth around himself. The right one of the cupids with hammer,
arrow and anvil. Opposite, a putto with tools leaning towards the fire in the centre of
the ensemble.
Measurement: Height 17cm.
Mark: Swords mark, painted blue under glaze. Formers mark.
