PORCELAIN FIGURINE OF A BADGER.

Meissen.
Date: 1924-1934.
Maker/Designer: Modelled by Max Esser, ca. 1922. No. 7 of 11 original pieces.
Technique: Porcelain, enriched in polychrome and gold.
Measurement: Height 28cm.
Mark: Swords mark stamped in underside with fox, embossed and painter's number, limitation 'Nr. 7 von 11 Urstücken', model no. 'H 244' (incised). On pedestal inscribed 'M. Esser 1924'.
Mark: Swords mark painted blue under glaze on the side of the pedestal (partially painted over) with one grinding mark.
