Edition Leipzig (ed.): Die Arbeitsberichte des Meissener Porzellanmodelleurs Johann Joachim Kaendler 1706-1775, p.40. In the work reports, an entry in July 1736 reads: "6. Einen Arlequin mit Tutel Sack aufs Lager, geändert und zum abformen tüchtog gemacht.".
