PORCELAIN SUGAR BOWL WITH CRANES AND HANDLE IN THE SHAPE OF A SWINHOE'S PHEASANT.

Date: Ca. 1725/30.
Technique: Böttger porcelain, enriched in colours.
Description: The mould with a curved stand and wall and two curved handles. 'Indian' flowers on the wall of the box. Two cranes with reeds, a flying bird and a branch of flowers on the lid. The handle in the shape of a Taiwanese Swinhoe's pheasant.
The decor is based on a Chinese model of "famille verte" crockery from the collection of Augustus the Strong. Individual decorative elements such as the two cranes and the flying bird were repeatedly combined.
Measurement: 10,4x15,5x10cm.
Mark: Swords mark, painted blue under glaze. Cameo mark.
