TEA BOWL AND SAUCER WITH CHINOISERIES.
Meissen.
Date: Around 1725.
Technique: Porcelain, enriched in colours and gold.
Description: Tea bowl with transverse cartouches, decorated with gold bordures and feather leaves. In
it Chinese figures performing a tea ceremony. Rich, golden lace bordure along the inner
rim and Indian flowers on the sides. Saucer with Chinese man at a writing desk in
cartouche and three iron-red rings on the reverse.
Measurement: Height tea bowl 5cm/ ø saucer 12cm.
Mark: 32 in gold.
