TWO PORCELAIN TEA BOWLS AND TWO SAUCER WITH PURPLE FOND AND MERCHANT NAVY SCENE.

Meissen.
Date: Ca. 1740/50.
Technique: Porcelain with purple ground, coloured and gold enriched.
Description: Richly decorated cartouches with purple chandeliers and attached feather ornamentation on
the mirrors and the tea bowls, containing fine merchant navy scenes. The rims each with
rich gold hatching.
Measurement: Height 4,5cm, ø 11,9/12cm.
Mark: All parts with sword mark in underglaze blue. Potter's number '2'/'66'.
