. Technique: Carrara marble with lead inlays and incisions.
Measurement: 30 x 82 x 35cm.
Condition:
Occasional traces of the creation process inherent in the work. Minimal rubbings, especially on the lead inlays. Otherwise the work is in very good condition.
The work, which depicts an abstracted female nude, dates from the artist's most important creative period. Shortly afterwards he became professor at the Berlin Hochschule der Künste, where in 1975 he succeeded Ludwig Gabriel Schrieber, whose master student he had been in 1962/63. The work has been in private ownership since the 1970s.
