FOUR PIECE SILVER SERVICE WITH VARYING SCENIC DECOR.

Date: 1853-1880.
Maker/Designer: Émile Hugo.
Technique: Silver, twice with residues of gilt interior.
Description: Consisting of a coffee pot with a desert scene showing a tent and Bedouins drinking
coffee, a teapot with figural scenes of tea cultivation in China, a large sugar bowl
depicting the cultivation of sugar cane and a milk jug with a rural depiction of cows and
goats.
Weight: Ca. 3235g.
Measurement: Height of the pots 26/21cm.
Mark: Paris guarantee of standard 950 (Rosenberg no.5880), maker's mark Émile Hugo (1853-1880).
