MIXED LOT OF 2 CAMEO-BROOCHES.
Material: 750/- and 333/- yellow and red gold, tested, base metal.
Total Weight: ca. 27,0 g.
Measurement: Ca. 4,5 x 3,5 cm resp. 4,3 x 3,5 cm.
Gemstones: 1 trapezoidal gemstone in smooth-cut, presumably ruby ca. 0,3 ct.
Organic Matter: 2 carved shell cameos ca. 3,5 x 2,5 cm resp. 2,8 x 2,1 cm, 65 seed pearls ca. 2,8 - 3,9 x 2,1 - 3,3 mm, white and silvern.
Description: One cameo shows Psyche, an ancient royal daughter, in profile looking to the left. The second cameo shows a woman in profil who is leaning against a pillar and looking to the left.
The proceeds will go to a charitable foundation.
Condition: according to age in good condition, traces of wear in the form of minor to more
severe scratches. One restored place. Occasional remains of glue on the pearls. Gold
slightly oxidised.
