MOURNING JEWELRY SET: BANGLE, PENDANT MEDALLION AND COLLAR BROOCHES.
Date: Around 1850.
Material: 333/- red gold, tested, ( sphere ) 585/- red gold, tested, black enamel.
Total Weight: ca. 52,5 g.
Measurement: Inner diameter bangle ca. 6,2 x 5,0 cm, medallion ca. 6,8 x 3,7 cm, collar brooches each 2,6 x 2,0 cm.
Organic Matter: 20 seed pearls Ø ca. 1,4 - 2,3 mm, silver.
Description: Safety chain on the bangle added later. Medallion with glass inlay, can be opened. Eyelet
on the pendant and sphere on the medallion were added later, the brooch-back was removed.
Collar brooches probably used to be clips, brooch backs were added later, clips removed.
Box enclosed.
Condition: good, worn condition considering its age, partially with obvious signs of wear
in the form of light to more severe scratches as well as a few dents. Gold partially
oxidized and with some signs of soldering.
