PARTIALLY GILT SILVER BEAKER WITH COVER AND BALL FEET.

Nuremberg.
Date: Around 1674-1680/81.
Maker/Designer: Sigmund Bierfreund.
Technique: Partially gilt silver with gilt interior.
Description: Finely embossed and engraved flower tendrils on all sides, as well as along the hooded
cover. Its strongly raised centre is crowned by a swan with outstretched wings.
Weight: 210g.
Measurement: Height 18cm.
Mark: Inspection mark Nuremberg (GNM no.25), maker's mark Sigmund Bierfreund (1654-1702, ibid. no.68), testing mark.
