7 FIGURINES FROM A CENTERPIECE 'FRANKENTHAL YELLOW HUNT'.
Nymphenburg.
Date: Molded 1971-1973.
Maker/Designer: Model K.G. Lück.
Technique: Porcelain, enriched in colors and gold.
Description: Seven pieces consisting of: Pair of hounds on the hunt, two hunters on horseback with
parforce horn, hunter on horseback with two hunting dogs, hunter on horseback, horse
handler with hunting dog and large central group 'La Curée'. It shows a hunter on
horseback on a base decorated with plants and tree stumps. Two hunting assistants take
care of a large, shot stag which is lying on the ground and is being sniffed by two
hunting dogs. One assistant leans between the hind legs ready to gut the stag. The other
hands the mounted hunter an already disjointed foreleg.
Measurement: Height 8,5cm - 19cm.
Mark: CT mark in underglaze-blue under electoral hat with date, impressed shield. Model no. 1063/1065/1066/1066a/1067/1067a/1068.
