Technique: Red chalk heightened with chalk over pink-coloured gouache fond on vellum.
Measurement: 58,5 x 47cm.
Notation: Signed and dated lower right: dix (artist's signet) 1931.
Condition:
Occasional pin holes, especially at the corners (due to the manufacturing process?). Occasional minimal rubbings. Occasional minimal traces of handling. Occasional minimal accretions. Partly minimal water stains in the centre of the upper image half. Traces of an old mounting at the corners. Verso remains of an old mounting (slightly protruding recto and bleeding minimally through): Otherwise in good condition.
