- Wanted early work by the main protagonist of the ZERO movement
- From the known work series "Feuerbilder"
- The black "Feuerblumen" (fire flowers) on red priming count to the most popoular works from the series
- Seince the 50s, fire and smoke are a significant artistic medium, with which Piene is creating his unique oeuvre.
