PAIR OF LARGE SILVER CANDLESTICKS WITH FINELY OPEN-WORKED FOOT.

Date: Around 1900.
Maker/Designer: Claude Doutre Roussel.
Technique: Silver.
Description: Topside of scalloped foot with openwork lattice and flower tendril decor. Each with sturdy
baluster shaft with corresponding decor and vase shaped spout. The drip plates shaped as
leafs.
Weight: Approx. 1345g.
Measurement: Height each 31,5cm.
Mark: Paris guarantee of standard 950 (Rosenberg no.5880), maker's mark Claude Doutre Roussel.
