SILVERWARE WITH HUNTING DÉCOR.

Date: Around 1900.
Maker/Designer: Predominantly Prudent Quitte.
Technique: Gilt silver. Knives with steel blades.
Description: On the ends of the fork handles opposing medallions with engraved coats of arms or hunted game on ribbon. The knives without engraved coat of arms.
Consisting of:
12 dinner forks vermeil,
12 dinner forks with partial gilding,
12 dinner knives.
Weight: Ca. 2640 (without knives)g.
Measurement: Length knives 26cm.
Mark: Forks: Paris guarantee of standard 950 (Rosenberg no.5880), maker's mark Prudent Quitte (after 1882).
Knives: French export stamp standard 950 (ibid. no.5920). Enclosed: 6 Vermeil Kaffeelöffel. Silber, vergoldet. Paris. 3 x Odiot, 3 x Emile Puiforcat.
