Notation: Signed and dated upper left: P. Royen 53. Signed and titled on the verso, left centre: Peter Royen 'Katzen'. Also with location details.
Frame/Pedestal: Framed (94,5 x 74,5cm).
Condition:
Canvas in the upper area with tear (ca. 1 cm), closed and retouched hole, individual scratches and colour loss (up to ca. 6 cm max.) and small dent. Liquid stains and isolated colour loss. Not examined out of the frame.

- Bayer AG, Leverkusen (acquired in 1954)
