RARE INCENSE BURNER, SMALL CUP AND MELON SHAPED BOWL.

Origin: China.
Dynasty: Song/Jin Dynasty.
Maker/Designer: Cizhou kilns.
Technique: Ferrous and dark ceramic, covered with ivory white slip and transparent glaze. Painted with green and red. Melon bowl with white glaze.
Measurement: Censer H.18,5cm, Ø 17,5cm. Cup H.3,6cm, Ø 7,7cm. Melon shaped bowl H.9,5cm, Ø 14cm.
Mark: Censer with paper label: 25. Cup with paper label: 1339 Sung WAT. Melon bowl: 5881.
Condition B/C. Supplement: Large bowl. Swatow stoneware, over the white glaze painted in green, red, turquoise and black. China. Ming dynasty. H. 10,8cm, Ø 22cm. Traces of use.


Provenance:
Collection Dr. Franz Haniel (1883-1965), since then bequest of the family estate.
