About Rosemarie Trockel:
Rosemarie Trockel lives near Berlin. From 1974 to 1978, she studied painting under Werner Schriefers at the Kölner Werkschulen (Faculty of Art and Design at Cologne University of Applied Sciences). From 1998 to 2016, Rosemarie Trockel was a professor at the Düsseldorf Art Academy. In 2012, she was appointed a member of the North Rhine-Westphalian Academy of Sciences, Humanities and the Arts. Trockel has been a founding member of the Academy of the Arts of the World in Cologne since October 2012. She became a member of the Academy of Arts Berlin, Visual Arts Section, in 1995. In 2021 Trockel was elected into the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

As a highlight, the works of art will be handed over to the bidders at a festive evening on Saturday, August 24, 2024, in some cases by the artists themselves. The location is yet to be announced.
