NEW YORK 1923 - 1997
Title: Pyramid.
Date: 1968.
Technique: Colour silkscreen on card, folded into a pyramid.
Measurement: Pyramid: 38 x 50,5 x 50,5cm.
Notation: Signed and numbered on the inside.
Number: 6/300.
Frame/Pedestal: Plexiglass bonnet (45 x 64,5cm).
Condition:
Bumpings to all corners with minimal to slight creases and minimal to slight paper loss. Occasional minimal rubbing. Minimal accumulation of dust. Minimal creases on the edges. Inside slight traces of moisture on the standing surfaces as well as traces of glue due to the manufacturing process. Otherwise in good condition.
According to the artist, the prints were accidentally stacked on top of each other while the ink was still wet so that only about 50-100 copies of the edition of 300 could actually be issued (see WVZ Corlett, p. 94).
