SAPPHIRE-CULTURED AKOYA PEARL-BRACELET.
Origin: Germany.
Date: Ca. 1970.
Material: 585/- white gold, with hallmark.
Total Weight: ca. 42,0 g.
Measurement: Length ca. 19,5 cm, width ca. 2,4 cm.
Gemstones: 5 round faceted sapphires Ø ca. 3,1 mm.
Organic Matter: ca. 84 cultured Akoya pearls Ø ca. 6,5 mm, white rose, visible growth characteristics.
Description: Juweller's mark "WJ". Classic three-strand bracelet made of cultured Akoya pearls with a
broad sapphire-set clasp.
Condition: Partially significant traces of wear in the form of slight to heavy scratches,
partially deep dents in the gold. The clasp is worn but still closes well. Gold heavily
oxidised. Pearls were subsequently strung onto nylon cord.
