AMBROSIA BOWL WITH FINELY CUT DECOR.
Silesia.
Date: Around 1750.
Technique: Uncolored glass.
Description: Oval, boat-shaped cup with curved rim over a baluster stem. The sides richly decorated
with cut palmette decor and engraved ornaments. In the centre of each long side a small
engraved eagle. On the low narrow side the monogram BME under a crown. Disc-shaped base
with faceted rim and matt, jagged semicircular bordure. On the underside a cut rosette.
Measurement: Height 12,2cm.
