IVORY CHRIST AT THE PILLAR OF SCOURGE.

Date: End of the 17th c.
Technique: Carved ivory, wood partly ebonised, tortoise shell.
Description: On the rectangular pedestal, the figure of Christ bound by the hands, his head raised in
pain, next to him the pillar of scourging.
Measurement: Height of christ figurine 25.5cm, height including base 31.5cm.
Tortoise shell partially lost on the column. Base restored inside.
