Notation: Signed and dated lower left: Theodor Werner 22.
Frame/Pedestal: Framed (48 x 43cm).
Condition:
Minimal staining in places. Rubbing with slight paint abrasions at the lower left margin and in the area of the signature. Otherwise the painting is in a good condition.
Not examined out of the frame.
On the reverse side another depiction of an elderly gentleman, it could be a portrait of the artist's father. We are grateful to Dr. Brigitte Lohkamp, Düsseldorf, for her kind support.
