CHALICE MADE OF GILT COPPER AND PARTIALLY GILT SILVER.
Toskana.
Date: 16th century.
Technique: Gilt copper, partially gilt silver.
Description: Wide twelve-foil foot with profiled frame and engraved palmettes and volutes on the upper side.
Six-sided rising from the middle and merging into the correspondingly shaped shaft via a frill. Sturdy nodus with six round silver rotuly, originally probably covered with glass, with depictions of 'Ecce Homo', Mary, John, St. Lucia, Saint with
Olive branch and saint with palm branch. The small bowl basket decorated with alternating engravings of stylized plants and volutes. The upper edge bent.
Smooth, conically rising bowl with gilt interior.
Measurement: Height 20cm.
Mark: Without detectable marks.
