Condition:
4 sheets with tears at the edges (max. ca. 5 cm, glued in 3 places verso). Each: minimally creased. Traces of the creation process. Otherwise in good condition.

In this collection, the artist works through a variation theme in which he selects seven points from a field of eight by eight fields using a sophisticated construction. These seven points are connected by straight lines in such a way that they touch each point only once and return to the starting point.
When tracing the horizontal and vertical lines of the grid that are touched by the outermost points, a regular rectangular shape is created. In contrast, four possible irregular shapes without right angles result when the points are connected directly to each other from the outside. There are basically 40 formal constellations, of which the artist has used 5:
- the regular right-angled quadrangle
- the irregular quadrangle
- individual shapes as irregular heptagons from the non-intersecting outer lines
- several shapes of irregular polygons and triangles that touch at the intersection points
- free-standing polygon and triangle shapes.
