VASE WITH LADIES TEACHING BOYS.

Origin: China.
Dynasty: Qing dynasty (1644-1911).
Date: Guangxu Period (1875-1908).
Technique: Porcelain painted underglaze blue and with wucai.
Description: The circumferential representation "San niang jiao zi" shows three ladies at a table
teaching boys to read, one boy is playing with a bunny on wheels, three others are busy
with a large grasshopper. On the shoulder broken ice and camellia branches on the short
neck.
Measurement: H.25.5cm, Ø 20cm.
Mark: The vase is flat underneath with turning grooves and a location written in ink.
Condition B.

Provenance:
Collection Heinrich Aigner (1919-2005), Southern Germany. Acquired locally in the
1960s-70s
