OVAL YELLOW GOLD SNUFF-BOX WITH FLAMING HEARTS.

Date: Around 1790's.
Technique: Gold 18 carat.
Description: Oval shape with hinged lid. Decoration with engraved, central reverses on all sides
showing engraved music supplies. Inside on the lid and on the bottom of the box, each an
oval medaillion with depiction of a vase with two flaming hearts.
Weight: 74g.
Measurement: 3x8,5x4,4cm.
Mark: Inspection mark indistinct, maker's mark 'MC' under crown, number 20 and inv.no.794.
