Technique: Red, slightly faded fabric with sewn-on silver ornaments, large turquoises and corals.

Private collection Rhineland-Palatinate.
The extremely precious headdress worn over the head is part of the ceremonial clothing of oracle lamas and is modelled on the headdress of rich noblewomen, thus marking the feminine character of the shaman or oracle master.
