YUHUCHUN VASE WITH BAMBOO AND BANANAS IN A GARDEN.
Origin: China.
Technique: Porcelain, painted underglaze blue.
Description: Revolving around the body the depiction of a garden with bamboo and banana plants with
garden stones and a terrace railing. On the shoulder three borders: ruyi, spiral tendrils,
large standing leaves. The wide flared foot ring with leaves, above it a border with
stylized banana leaves. Above the foot ring and beneath the lip each a double ring.
Measurement: H.28.5cm.
Mark: Inside the footring a six-part Tongzhi mark, but later.
Condition A/B. Small cracks at the lip.
