Condition:
Blue card: Minimal rubbings. Slight rubbings on the corners. Occasional minimal bumpings to the edges. Minimally discoloured in spots on verso. Magenta card: Minimal rubbings in the margins. Minimal bumpings to the corners. Minimally discoloured in spots verso. Gold card: Minimal rubbings. Slight bumpings on the corners. Slightly and unevenly discoloured on verso. Catalogue slightly and unevenly discoloured and with slight bumpings to the edges. Otherwise, everything is in good condition.
The artist created the triptych on the occasion of his first solo exhibition in Germany at the Museum Lange, Krefeld, from 14th January to 26th February 1961. It is an addition to the exhibition catalogue. Each gold-coloured cardboard of the edition was covered with gold leaf by Yves Klein himself, who designed each one differently. This gives these works a unique character.
