LARGE ROUND SNUFF BOX WITH MEDAL OF THE IMPERIAL CHANCELLOR ALEXEI PETROVICH COUNT BESTUSHEV-RYUMIN.

Technique: Gilt silver, Niello decor.
Description: On the hooded lid a large medal, the surface engraved with a radial pattern. The sides are
circumferentially decorated with hunting scenes, the underside with a heraldic motif with
the monogram "WHK" in Latin characters.
Weight: Ca. 250g.
Measurement: Height 3,5cm, ø 9,5cm.
Mark: Inspection mark Weliki Ustjug with 1775 (Goldberg compare no.68, 59), maker's mark severely indistinct Alexej Moschnin (ibid. no.80).
