In 1974 Alfonso Hüppi was appointed professor of painting at the Düsseldorf Art Academy, a position he held until 1999. In the same year, a continuous exploration of the minimal form of the box emerges, which is reduced and supplemented by monochrome geometric shapes, as shown in the relief.
