LARGE GLASS BOWL 'PAVOTS D'ORIENT'.
Daum Frères. Nancy.
Date: Ca. 1910/1915.
Technique: Acromatic glass, beige- and rose-coloured powder inclusions, green applications, violet overlay, etched decor.
Description: Round, bulbous, slightly compressed shape. Four indentations in the lower section. Three
indented points on the rim. Wall decorated all around with poppy flowers, buds and fruit
capsules. The flowers and buds are finely cut with a wheel.
Measurement: Height 13cm, Ø 22cm.
Mark: In lower area inscr. 'Daum Nancy' with Cross of Lorraine (cut) and 'France'.
