Notation: Each signed, dated and titled verso upper right: MAURER 1986 NÉGYZET KONTRA TÉGLALAP. Here additionally inscribed: A resp. B as well as each equipped with two labels with work details.
Provenance:
- Private collection Southern Germany (directly form the artist)
- Considered an important representative of the Hungarian neo-avant-garde and a central figure in contemporary concrete art
- Her work plays with perspective distortions of geometric forms that question the viewer's usual patterns of perception
- Tate Modern in London dedicated a major retrospective to the influential artist in 2021.
