and also signed by Erich Heckel postcards to Mrs. Käthe Bleichröder, Hamburg, Hartungstr.
7a, from 3rd Feburary 1911 (stamp, Dresden Altstadt): "Kleine Tänzerin mit Hund / Sehr
fein. Wie geht es Ihnen / Was macht Ihr Jour / Besten Gruss / Ihr ELKirchner / Es grüsst
Sie bestens / Ihr ergebener E Heckel".
Enclosed: Two Exlibris from the Kunsthandlung Alfred Lochte, Hamburg
The "kleinen Tänzerin" is about Sidi Riha, the friend and later the wife of Erich Heckel. A further postcard (s. compative ill.) with a coloured drawing by Heckel the two artist send to the Hamburger photographer Käthe Bleichröder which is a passive member of the Brücke since 1910 (s. compative ill.) on 6th February 1911. On this postcard Heckler reproduces the decipction with slight variation of our postcard and this time portrays Sidi Riha with the dog as a nude with the same headgear and the same sofa.
