Title: Teenager mit verschränkten Händen.
Date: 1968.
Technique: Bronze, light-brown patinated.
Measurement: 45,5 x 9,5 x 9cm.
Notation: Signed on the base, behind the right foot: Artist's signet.
Foundry Mark: Foundry mark verso on the edge of the plinth GUSS BARTH BERLIN.
Condition:
Minimally irregular patina, e.g. on the chin and the hem of the skirt. Occasional slight dark stains (due to manufacturing?), e.g. on the left earlobe, left breast and left thigh, verso on the hem of the skirt and on the right hip. Slight corrosion in one place on the base, in front of the left foot, here minimally incipient verdigris. Otherwise in good condition.
One of 10 planned casts. The plaster model was damaged after the first casting. Marcks made alterations during the repair, mainly removing the vertical carvings in the upper part of the vestment.
