Description: Behind a curtain drawn to one side, a rectangular picture field opens up to reveal Mary
kneeling next to a table and looking up at her risen son Jesus Christ. He appears to hover
beside her, marked by the wounds of the crucifixion and his right hand raised to heaven.
Measurement: Pictuere panel 15x10cm.
Mark: Handwritten adhesive label "Melchior Barthel (Dresden) 1625-72" verso on the wooden panel of the frame.
