With Parkett magazine.
"With his own hands [Gregor Schneider] reproduces existing rooms in the same place and subsequently, for exhibition purposes, reconstructs these in another place. Thus, he takes over and affirms an existing building, constantly seeking to make a connection with what it is not, with an uncanny undertow that fundamentally questions the existential possibility of living, of finding refuge in a house. He contextualizes the house with itself in order to locate the other side of its meaning."
Ulrich Loock, Parkett no. 63, 2001.
