Henrik Eiben (*1975) bedient sich in seiner Arbeit der gestalterischen Mittel von Reduktion und Sparsamkeit. Indem der Künstler die Formensprache der Minimal Art erweitert und hinterfragt, schafft er subtile und vielschichtige Werke. Henrik Eiben absolvierte sein Studium 2002 an der Academy of Visual Arts and Design, Enschede, am Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore 2001 sowie bis 2004 an der Staatlichen Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Karlsruhe bei Silvia Bächli. Seine Werke wurden international in zahlreichen Einzel- und Gruppenausstellungen wie im Museum Kunstpalast (Düsseldorf), Neuer Kunstverein Gießen, Museum Weserburg (Bremen) oder der Busan Biennale (Südkorea) gezeigt.
