PAIR OF DOOR HANDLES WITH THE SEASONS "SPRING" AND "AUTUMN.

Zeitner, Herbert. 1900 Coburg - 1988 Lüneburg.

Date: Around 1965.
Technique: Gilt silver. Among others agate and quartz cabochons, transparent gemstones, amethysts.
Description: Each with screw thread on the back, and once with enclosed gilt metal mount. Each of
rectangular shape with rounded corners and profiled rim. The "Spring" shows two young
women, one with a flute and the other one dancing. At their feet are flowers set with
stones. "Summer" also shows a woman dancing and a woman playing music, this time with a
cello. The sides are decorated with vines and set with large gemstones.
Measurement: Each 16,5 x 11cm.
Mark: Fineness 925, master's mark HZ (lig.). once with no. 4, once with no. 1 engraved on the backside.
