POUDREUSE WITH FLORAL MARQUETRY.

Date: Around 1900.
Technique: Walnut, elmwood, maple, wenge and kingwood inlays. Floral bronze mounts, mirror glass.
Description: On a curved frame the table top with one drawer. On its upper side fine inlays with fern
leaves and on the left side two bees. The mirror framed by orchid blossoms, fern leaves
and slender reed bundles on the sides. In the upper area two small shelves for
candlesticks, on vegetal consoles.
Measurement: 125x70x46cm.
Mark: Indistinctly inscribed on front right drawer [.] Majorelle [.].
