HISTORICAL SEED-PEARL-EARRINGS.
Date: Presumably ca. 1880.
Material: 750/- yellow gold, tested, brass.
Total Weight: ca. 19,5 g.
Measurement: ca. 6,7 x 2,7 cm.
Organic Matter: Numerous seed beads, round to baroque in shape, Ø ca. 0,9 mm - 5,8 mm.
Description: Elaborately crafted, delicate drop earrings made from numerous seed pearls arranged in a grape-like pattern, brass foliage decorated with additional seed pearls and vegetal gold elements.
Condition: in good condition for its age, traces of wear in the form of slight to moderate scratches. The brass leaves are tarnished, and traces of oxidation are visible on the gold in several places.
The proceeds will go to a charitable foundation.
