HISTORICAL SEED PEARL-SET: NECKLACE AND EARRINGS.
Origin: Austria-Hungary (Earrings).
Date: 1866-1872 and later.
Material: 580/- and 585/- yellow-, rose-gold, hallmark, tested.
Total Weight: ca. 21,0 g.
Measurement: Length Earrings 3,8 cm, Length Necklace ca. 41,0 cm.
Organic Matter: 116 Seed pearlsØ ca. 1,5 - 4,5 mm, white to silver.
Description: Mariage, gold tones of both pieces differing in colour, the earrings historical and the necklace historicising.
Necklace in a subtly playful, floral design with bow and flower ornamentation. Clasp marked with 'CS*FS' and '15'.
Both earrings stamped with the stamp of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy 1866-1872 (see Divis 973), one next to it with 'H2', the other with 'IL'.
Condition: in good condition for its age, traces of wear in the form of minor to moderate scratches on the earrings and oxidation in places. The necklace is in very good condition, with occasional slight signs of wear.
The proceeds will go to a charitable foundation.
