The database of the RKD, The Hague, lists under fig. no. 293534 a panel signed by de Wet with the miraculous multiplication of loaves, which is now kept in the St. Petersburg Erimitage. Also documented by the RKD are several variants of the theme, listed as workshop works. Interestingly, only the St Petersburg version is in portrait format, while the unsigned panels from the studio are all - like the work shown here - in landscape format.
