Description: Matching, profiled rim with cross band decor and acanthus leaf.
Weight: Ca. 1260g.
Measurement: ø 26,5cm.
Mark: Inspection mark Berlin 1819-54 (Scheffler Berlin, no.14, 18), maker's mark Johann George Hossauer (since 1826 "Goldsmith of his Majesty the King" ibid. no.1849), 15 Lot.
Ligated monogram "WA" under the kings crown. Once no. 6 resp. no. 11 engraved as well as weight details.

Provenance:
Private collection Rhineland. Acquired at art dealer Heide Hübner, Würzburg, 1983.

The two plates were possibly part of the dinner service created on the occasion of the marriage of Prince Wilhelm of Prussia to Princess Augusta Marie Luise of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach in June 1829.
