This wonderful gouache is a preliminary study for a bronze sculpture (cf. "FIGURE, ditte aussi femme" from 1920/21, Félix Marcilhac, cat. rais. no. 1920-FM.30/c; described by Köllmann modern art as "Jeune fille" from 1920/21)
