Title: Drei groteske Figuren.
Date: Ca. 1953.
Technique: India ink, washed on watercolour paper.
Mounting: Layed in mat.
Measurement: 60 x 42,5cm.
Notation: Monogrammed in the depiction lower right: CH (lig.). Verso estate artist's stamp with the no. N-Z 76.
Frame/Pedestal: Mat (64 x 48cm).
Condition:
Slightly wavy due to the creation process. Sheet stained in places, in the mat more distinctly discoloured. Occasional minimal foxing. Crease in upper left corner with tear (ca. 1,5cm). Small tear on the left edge (ca. 0,5cm). Traces of an old mounting in the upper two corners. Small impression above the image at the left side. Verso distinctly discoloured and occasional slight foxing and minimal staining.

In 2012 VAN HAM Art Publications founded the Karl Hofer Committee and in 2015 VAN HAM Art Publications presented the catalogue raisonné of the sketchbooks.
